What is a WAHM and why should I buy from one?

WAHM is short for Work At Home Mom. She has children or grandchildren of her own, and usually has sewn diapers for them. She has created a diaper that works quite well. Some WAHMs sell the name brand diapers and have large stores. I like to buy from WAHMs because the diapers are SO much cuter, they can custom make them to fit baby better, and I'm all for supporting a mom earning extra money at home so that she can stay home with her children. I've heard people say "Why does that cost so much? WAHM products are SO expensive." As a WAHM, I figure in the cost of materials (which I buy in bulk to get discount prices, otherwise my prices would be even more), and the time it takes to make the item. If I were to lower my prices, my time sewing would be wasted time because i'd make nothing for it, and the buyer would question the quality of such a cheap product.

There are also WAHMs who make things other than diapers.

Being a WAHM is a great way for moms to help with the income while still staying home with their children. It is a great way to share a hobby with others also. In this day, when cutting costs is so important to big manufacturers, many hand made items excell when it comes to quality. I love looking at WAHM shops and often purchase from them. Here are a couple online "malls". I suggest looking at feedback on these sites and others because sadly, some people start a business just to get money... i've seen and heard of many buyers loosing out to low quality products, or no product at all.
