Similar Site for Cloth Pads
I wanted to create a "Help I'm New" site for cloth pads, but happened across this one day. No need for me to duplicate someone else's great work!

Some disposable feminine products are made from the same things that disposable diapers are made from. One added problem that seems to affect women more, but is harmful to everyone is dioxin. Dioxin is left over when natural products (in this case fibers) are bleached. It seems to be the cause of many women's cramps at that time of the month. Also, the absorbent gel... sodium polyacrylate is found in these products too. Tampons also contain dioxins. This is just one of the problems.

So what are my alternatives?
You can find unbleached tampons at most health food stores, and for sale on the internet. There are also Cloth pads available. Many WAHMs sell them, or you can sew your own. There are other products available too - Sea Pearls, Diva cup, the Keeper. Here's some sites to purchase from.
